Tip 1: Pay attention to the slope.
When hitting from slopes, keep in mind that the ball’s flight path changes depending on the slope. For example, when hitting from an uphill slope, the ball’s flight is higher and shorter. When hitting from a downhill slope, the ball’s flight is much lower. Adjust your swing or club accordingly.
Tip 2: Hold your club a little shorter.
When your feet are positioned below the ball for a shot from a slope, make sure to hold the club a little shorter. This will help you compensate for the difference in elevation.
Tip 3: Bend your knees more.
Are your feet above the ball? And are you planning to practice a shot? If so, make sure to bend your knees more—this will give you better stability and bring you closer to the ball. This will also help you compensate for the difference in height.
